Colorado Lands Defensive End Kisima Jagne

The Colorado Buffaloes landed three-star defensive end Kisima Jagne (Chandler, Ariz.) and is the third defensive end in Colorado's 2012 class. Jagne is rated as one of the better defensive ends in the 2012 class and he believes he could play right away:

"Since the talent level isn't there yet Jagne thinks that means he could get on the field early and that's a big selling point.

[...]

"I might be able to get a chance to play early. They don't have too many defensive ends so I'll have a chance to go in and do something as a freshman."

Jagne chose Colorado over Arkansas, Arizona, Arizona State, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Washington, Washington State and Purdue. He could also be one of the best pickups for Colorado in their 2012 class.

ESPN recruiting believes Jagne has the chance to blossom at the next level:

Jagne is a two-sport athlete who displays promising upside as a football player. He is a physically good looking kid who possesses good height, carries good bulk with a frame that looks able to support more good size and looks to have a nice wingspan for his build. He flashes a good initial burst off the ball, but can be a beat late at times and needs to be more consistent. He is a big kid who can bend well and maintain a good "football position" when taking on blockers.

Here are some highlights of Jagne, he is wearing No. 44.
