2011 Heisman Trophy Voting Results: Kellen Moore Finishes In 8th Place, Receives Six First-Place Votes

Robert Griffin III won the 2011 Heisman Trophy, but where did Boise St. Broncos quarterback Kellen Moore finish in the voting results? He came in at No. 8, behind the five invitees, USC's Matt Barkley and Houston's Case Keenum. Moore received six first place votes, 21 votes for second and 30 for third, according to Chadd Cripe of the Idaho Statesman.

Moore threw for over 3,500 yards and had 41 touchdown passes. He finished in fourth last year with 40 place votes while he was No. 7 in 2009. In the latter year, Moore had 39 touchdown passes and 3,536 passing yards.

Keenum finished in eighth place in 2009 and would likely have been in the 2010 running had it not been for a season-ending injury. Because he was granted a sixth year of eligibility, Keenum returned to the field in 2011 for the Cougars.
