The USC Trojans have jumped out to a 28-10 lead at halftime against the Colorado Buffaloes. Quarterback Matt Barkley threw four touchdown passes in the first half to score 28 straight points. He finished the half with 17-of-27 passing for 195 yards.
However, Barkley did falter late in the second quarter when he threw an interception at his own 28-yard line. The Buffs took it back to the eight-yard line but were only able to get a field goal out of it.
Tyler Hansen was just 9-of-20 for 157 yards and one touchdown pass. He connected with Toney Clemons for a 37-yard touchdown pass. Clemons has his first 100-yard receiving yard game with four catches for 101 yards. Rodney Stewart is now the career leader in all-purpose yards after gaining 23 yards on the ground and 53 receiving. He needed just 41 yards to take the lead.
