Pac-12 Football Scores: Cal Defeats Arizona State, 47-38

By the time the California Golden Bears and the Arizona St. Sun Devils kicked off on Friday evening, the Sun Devils had already lost out on a chance to win the Pac-12 South division. As a result of the Colorado Buffaloes defeating the Utah Utes, the UCLA Bruins captured the title and a spot on the Pac-12 championship game.

Even if Utah had won, the Sun Devils wouldn't have still been in the race on Saturday because they fell to Cal, 47-38. Cal junior running back C.J. Anderson had two rushing touchdowns and a 64-yard touchdown reception to dominate the game. Isi Sofele had 145 yards on 21 carries to lead the rushing attack. Giorgio Tavecchio kicked four field goals for the Bears.

Brock Osweiler threw three touchdowns but also two interceptions for Arizona State Cameron Marshall racked up the yards on the ground, gaining 157 on 23 carries and scoring two touchdowns.
