The Colorado Buffaloes and the Utah Utes begin the "Rumble in the Rockies" on Friday afternoon in what should become the rivalry game for each team. But both teams have a player that will likely miss the game. According to ESPN's Ted Miller, the Buffs have listed safety Anthony Perkins as questionable with an ankle injury. Perkins is a senior and a team captain. He didn't sound too optimistic about his chances to play when asked earlier in the week (via the Denver Post).
For the Utes, linebacker Jacoby Hale is doubtful with a concussion. The redshirt freshman will likely miss this game, but there's always the chance that he will be able to play in the team's bowl game.
