Air Force's Michael Lyons continued what's turning into a special season by pouring in 31 points, but it wasn't enough as Colorado picked up a 76-73 overtime victory at Clune Arena on Wednesday.
Four of five starters for Colorado finished in double-figures. Nate Tomlinson led the way with 19 points on a 7-of-11 shooting performance that included four three-pointers. Andrew Roberson wasn't to be outdone, scoring 11 and added 13 rebounds. Carlon Brown (16 points) and Austin Dufault (15 points) also helped pace the offense. Askia Booker came off the bench to finish with 11 points and five rebounds.
The loss was the first of the year for Air Force. Todd Fletcher scored 13 points and Mike Fitzgerald scored 10 in defeat.
