The UCLA Bruins (6-5) proved too much for the Colorado Buffaloes (2-10), rushing for over 325 yards on their way to an overwhelming win.
UCLA junior QB Kevin Prince excelled both on the ground and through the air as he tossed 4 touchdown passes and ran for 84 yards on just 10 attempts. RB Johnathan Franklin dominated the Buffaloes defense too, rushing for 162 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries -- good for a 10.8 yards per carry day. Senior wideout Nelson Rosario also shined, nabbing 6 catches for 102 yards and a touchdown.
The Buffaloes offense could not find its rhythm, mustering only 229 yards all game and allowing three turnovers. Senior QB Tyler Hansen completed only 16 passes on 31 attempts, lobbing a hat trick of interceptions which accounted for all three of Colorado's turnovers on the day.
Senior RB Rodney Stewart had a decent day, rushing for 77 yards on 21 carries, good for a 3.7 yard per carry average, but Stewart could not find his fifth touchdown of the season as the Buffs scored only once on a touchdown pass to Toney Clemons in the second quarter.
