With the offense making big plays and the defense consistently pressuring Nick Foles, the Colorado Buffaloes are only 30 minutes away from earning their first Pac-12 win, as they lead the Arizona Wildcats 20-10 at the half.
Although it might not be reflected in his stats, senior QB Tyler Hansen has provided a steadying influence for the Buffs throughout this season. He has been especially efficient against Arizona, completing 7/11 for 107 yards and a TD. The TD pass came on fourth down, with Tony Jones making the key catch for the Buffaloes. Sophomore RB Josh Ford recorded the first TD of his career, scoring on a 17-yard run late in the second quarter.
Arizona started to find some rhythm offensively, with Nick Foles leading the Wildcats on a long scoring drive that was finished off by Ka'Deem Carey. Foles threw for 136 yards in the first half, but was consistently harassed by a very active CU defense.
