After being blown off the field in recent games, the Colorado Buffaloes have shown some fight in front of the home fans, jumping out to a 7-3 lead at the end of the first quarter against the Arizona Wildcats. Senior QB Tyler Hansen has made the most of his two completions, as they have totaled 74 yards.
The lone TD of the game came from senior RB Rodney Stewart, who scored from five yards out. Stewart has been particularly impressive, rushing for 44 yards only five carries in the opening quarter. The defense has also been strong in the opening quarter, limiting the explosive Nick Foles to only 49 yards passing.
