Pac-12 Football Schedule: USC, Notre Dame Clash; Colorado Hosts Oregon

The USC Trojans and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish clash in South Bend, Ind., on Saturday as the premiere game on the Pac-12 football schedule.

The Pac-12 football schedule kicked off on Thursday with the Arizona Wildcats thumping the UCLA Bruins, 48-12. Bruins coach Rick Neuheisel continues to maintain a tenuous hold on his job, but it appears he will coach for the rest of the season. Arizona head coach Tim Kish, meanwhile, made his debut since Mike Stoops was fired and saw his quarterback, Nick Foles, throw three touchdowns.

On Saturday, there are several good matchups to follow:

No. 10 Oregon Ducks (5-1, 3-0 Pac-12) vs. Colorado Buffaloes (1-6, 0-3 Pac-12), 1:40 p.m. MT, Root Sports: Jon Embree and the Buffs just can't catch a break on their schedule this season. The Ducks are a high-scoring offense that should be able to easily handle the Buffs. Follow our StoryStream for more.

Utah Utes (3-3, 0-3 Pac-12) vs. California Golden Bears (3-3, 0-3 Pac-12), 5:00 p.m. MT: The good news for one of these teams is that they will finally pick up a win in conference play. Maybe Utah wants it more because they are still looking for a win against the Pac-12 opponent.

USC Trojans (5-1, 3-1 Pac-12) vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (4-2, 2-1 home), 5:30 p.m. MT, NBC: It's time for the Battle for the Jeweled Shillelagh.

No. 25 Washington Huskies (5-1, 3-0 Pac-12) vs. No. 8 Stanford Cardinal (6-0, 4-0 Pac-12), 6:00 p.m. MT, ABC: Can the Huskies continue their surprising start with an upset victory over Andrew Luck and the Cardinal? Quarterback Keith Price and running back Chris Polk will attempt it.

Oregon St. Beavers (1-5, 1-2 Pac-12) vs. Washington St. Cougars (3-3, 1-2 Pac-12), 8:30 p.m. MT: The Cougars look to rebound from a loss to the Stanford Cardinal last week. The Beavers should be an easy task.
