After a quick start by both the Colorado Buffaloes and the Washington Huskies, only Washington has been able to sustain it through the first quarter, leading 21-7. The Huskies went over 200 total yards of offense in the first quarter and saw quarterback Keith Price throw two touchdown passes. Price threw a touchdown on the opening and closing drives of the quarter, the latter an 11-yard toss to Austin Seferian-Jenkins as time expired.
Tyler Hansen has gone 8-of-10 for 86 yards and a touchdown. The score came on a short pass to Kyle Cefalo. But the defense hasn't been able to stop Keith Price.
The Huskies are on pace to score 84 points, though they won't keep pace with that. Still, this Colorado defense certainly looks as though it could allow that many points.
