Washington State Vs. Colorado Score Update: Cougars Take 7-0 Lead

The Washington St. Cougars withstood the early interception by quarterback Marshall Lobbestael by blocking Will Oliver's 29-yard field goal attempt and then turning that into points. From their own 19-yard line, the Cougars matriculated the ball down the field for the touchdown and the 7-0 lead.

Marshall Lobbestael kept picking on Justin Espinoza at cornerback since he is a converted wide receiver and inexperienced. Lobbestael kept find Jared Karstetter on the drive, but it was the ground  game that worked the ball within the final 10 yards. Rickey Galvin brought the ball to the six-yard line, but Carl Winston took it the final six yards on two plays.

The Buffs defense has been unable to get any pressure on Lobbestael, something that had come easily in previous weeks. The Buffs entered the game with 15 sacks.
