Colorado Buffaloes Recruiting: Top Hawai'i Recruit Paulay Asiata Decommits From Washington, Is Now Considering Colorado

Colorado is getting a late flurry of possible commits in the final 48 hours of the recruiting season. Earlier today, defensive end Juda Parker is considering Colorado and now his teammate Paulay Asiata who is an offensive lineman and considered the top player from Hawai'i has backed out of his verbal commitment to Washington and is now also considering Colorado.

Here is what Juda Parker said regarding Asiata:

"It looks good for both of us at Colorado.''' Parker also says that Asiata may have "committed (to UW) too soon, before he was ready'' and that now that he has thought about things more he wants to go to Colorado with Parker. [ESPNRISE.com's] Biggins was in Hawaii last week and said that while there, he also got word from people at Asiata's school that he had decommitted from UW. However, there is also a school of thought that Asiata may just want to wait to make his decision final until Wednesday, when there is a signing day event on the Islands, and that he hasn't ruled out UW.

With Colorado's class near the bottom of the Pac-12 getting the best two players from Hawai'i is definitely a solid boost, but nothing will be complete until the sign the National Letter of Intent this Wednesday.
