NCAA Tournament Bubble Watch: Colorado Buffaloes, Colorado State Rams On The Outside Looking In

Last week, the Colorado Buffaloes were one of the last four teams in the tournament, but this week they dropped out the bracket after losing their third straight game against Oklahoma and Kansas. The Colorado State Rams is sitting in the same spot as last week by being one of the last eight teams out of the field of 68. Last week the Rams went 1-1 by losing to Jimmer Fredette and BYU, but then beat Air Force.

Both Colorado and Colorado State need to go on a winning streak to get back on the right side of the bubble. Currently, the Rams seem to have a better shot at an at-large berth as they have an RPI of 50 while the Buffaloes are at 92. The Rams take on the Utah Utes on Saturday and then No. 4 ranked San Diego State, and the Buffaloes take on Baylor tomorrow and then Iowa State both of who are on a similar skid as Colorado.

Both teams need to turn their season around if they want a chance to make the NCAA tournament, and if they don't they both will be NIT bound.
