College Football Picks, Week 12: Colorado Buffaloes, Colorado State Rams Playing Final Stretch

We're getting close to the end of the college football season. Air Force already finished its regular season, but will likely head to the Indepence Bowl. That leaves Colorado and Colorado State playing out their remaining schedule, though only the Buffaloes still have a chance at playing in a bowl (a real long shot as they need to win out, and a 6-6 team, while eligible, may not garner enough support for a bowl game).

Colorado State Vs. Wyoming
Prediction:
Rams 24, Cowboys 20

Both teams close out their seasons on Saturday afternoon, and Wyoming would like nothing better than to win their first game in the Mountain West conference this year and take home the Bronze Boot for the second year in a row. But as Lee Corso says, "Not so fast!" Both teams have abysmal defenses, but the Rams have a slightly better offense. Look for the Rams to prevail in this one.

Colorado Vs. Kansas State
Prediction
: Buffaloes 27 vs. Wildcats 24

This is a tough one to gauge. If Dan Hawkins was still the coach, the Buffs wouldn't have a chance in this one. But with Brian Cabral as the interim coach, the Buffs are carrying momentum on their side after defeating Iowa State last weekend. They'll pull this one off because it's their last game Big 12 game at Folsom Field. Next week's game at Nebraska . . . check back later.
