Buffaloes Quarterback Cody Hawkins Named Big 12 Player Of The Week

Colorado senior quarterback Cody Hawkins has been named the Big 12's offensive player of the week after leading the Buffs to a surprising dominant victory over the Iowa State Cyclones, less than a week after his father was fired as the team's coach. With Dan Hawkins watching from the balcony of his old office, Cody played one of his best games as a Buffalo, throwing three touchdowns with no turnovers. Congratulations to Cody, this award is well deserved.
