Colorado Answers Georgia, Down 24 - 22

After Georgia looked to be in the middle of routing Colorado, Tyler Hansen and Rodney Stewart brought the Buffs back. At the 10:40 mark of the third quarter, Bulldog QB Aaron Murray hit Marlon Brown for 8 yards score to give the Bulldogs a 24 – 14 lead, which capped off a 21-point unanswered streak by the visiting team. Behind WR A.J Green, Georgia looked to be unstoppable, out-gaining the Buffs 207 – 74 in the second quarter.

It wasn’t looking good for Colorado.

Then RB Rodney Stewart took over. In need of a big play, “Speedy” Stewart scampered down the sideline for 65 yards to the Georgia 8 yard line. Two plays later, Tyler Hansen took it in from two yards out to get the Buffs within three, 24-21. The Buffs added a two point conversion to get within two points, 24 – 22 in the middle of the third quarter.
