Ryan Wilson Contract: Defenseman Signs 3-Year Deal With Avalanche

The Colorado Avalanche announced Monday that they have signed defenseman Ryan Wilson to a three-year contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed by the organization.

"Ryan brings an element that compliments our defense," said Avalanche General Manager/ Executive Vice President Greg Sherman. "We are pleased to sign him to a multi-year deal and look forward to seeing him at camp."

Wilson played in 59 games for Colorado during the 2011-12 season and racked up a career-high 20 assists. He finished the season +11. Wilson was acquired from Calgary in 2009.

The Avalanche also signed Patrick Bordeleau and David Van Der Gulik on Monday -- both received one-year deals.
