NHL Draft: Start Time, TV Schedule, Results And More

The 2012 NHL Draft gets underway Friday evening at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa., but the Colorado Avalanche are not scheduled to participate on Friday. The Avalanche do not have a first round pick this year, and their first selection does not come until the second round at No. 41 overall.

The only way that the Avalanche will be making a pick on Friday is if they move back into the first round via a trade, and so far there has been no indication made publicly by the team that they are going to make any moves.
