Avalanche Vs. Predators Final Score: Colorado Blows Lead In 3-2 Overtime Loss

The Colorado Avalanche never trailed in Thursday night's game until it was over, losing 3-2 to the Nashville Predators in overtime on the road. After blowing the lead in regulation, it took less than 40 seconds for the Avalanche to give up the game-winning goal to the Predators.

Taking a 2-0 lead into the second period, Colorado slowly lost its grip on the lead as Nashville took over the game. The Predators outshot the Avalanche 26-14 over the last two periods, pushing the game into overtime. Once there, it didn't long for Nashville to put the game away, as David Legwand scored his second goal of the game just 34 seconds into the overtime period.

The Avalanche drop to 23-20-2 on the season and have lost three straight games, including a home-and-away series against Nashville. The Predators are now 23-15-4 this season with five wins in their past six games.
