Avalanche Vs. Predators Score Update: Colorado, Nashville Going To Overtime

The Colorado Avalanche and Nashville Predators are going into overtime after the two teams ended regulation in a 2-2 tie. The Avalanche carried a 2-0 lead into the second period and a 2-1 lead into the third period, but ultimately they couldn't hold off Nashville's attack.

Although the Avalanche managed to maintain a 2-1 lead well into the third period, the Predators' Sergei Kostitsyn tied the game up with his ninth goal of the season. The goal, assisted by Mike Fisher and Roman Josi, was scored on one of 12 shots that Nashville got on goal during the third period.

The Predators had a major shot advantage in the final two periods, outshooting the Avalanche 26-14.
