The annual Burgundy & White game -- a public intrasquad game between members of the Colorado Avalanche -- has been scheduled for September 20 at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. As always, the event will showcase current Avalanche players and top prospects playing a three period game with a shootout to follow, regardless of the score.
This could be your first chance to see new draftees Gabriel Landeskog and Duncan Siemens in an Avalanche sweater, along with new goalies Semyon Varlamov and Jean-Sebastien Giguere.
The event took a break from the Air Force Academy last year and was held at 1stBank Center in Broomfield, CO.
Tickets will be available to the public on Friday, July 8 at 9:00 am. According to the presale information, general admission seats will be $20 apiece, and military tickets will be available for $10 apiece. All proceeds will go towards Kroenke Sports Charities.
