Colorado Avalanche Forward Paul Stastny Named To All Star Game

The Colorado Avalanche will be sending another player to All-Star Weekend in Raleigh, North Carolina. Center Paul Stastny has been named as an injury replacement and will be on the roster for the 2010-2011 All Star Game, due to injuries to Evgeni Malkin, Sidney Crosby, and others.

Stastny has 42 points on the season, tied for second on the team to fellow All-Star Matt Duchene.

Stastny was named to his first All-Star game during the 2007-2008 season, but was unavailable to play due to injury. He should see his first career action this weekend.
