NFL Playoffs 2013 picks and predictions: Broncos near unanimous choice

Nearly every NFL expert on the web believes the Broncos will defeat the Ravens on Saturday and advance to the AFC Championship.

The Denver Broncos are heavy favorites over the Baltimore Ravens, and most experts believe the Broncos will come through and win the playoff battle. The Broncos are the the hottest team in the NFL, having won 11 straight games, and Peyton Manning has dominated the Ravens over his career, giving many reasons to be confident in Denver.

Joel Thorman of SB Nation believes the Broncos will win by 10 points, 30-20. At CBS Sports, seven of eight experts went with the Broncos, as did the CBS Sports "Prediction Machine." All three experts at Yahoo! Sports also picked Denver. At ESPN, 11 of 12 experts sided with the Broncos, with only Mike Golic picking the Ravens upset and ESPN's Accuscore also predicting a Denver victory. The mathematical predication model used at OddsShark has Denver coming out on top by a score of 36-27.

Locally, Mark Kizla of the Denver Post picked the Broncos as well, citing Manning's incredible nine straight wins against the Ravens.

Overall, that makes 23 out of 25 experts picking Denver as well as three different predictive models.
