Following two tough losses to the Atlanta Falcons and Houston Texans, the Denver Broncos will get a chance to recover in their first AFC West game of the season, against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Oakland has done just as well as the Broncos, with a dire start to the season and two straight uninspiring losses. Both teams only have a single win, both over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Peyton Manning will be the biggest key to the Broncos success. He had back-to-back subpar performances after a solid Week 1 and will be facing a Raiders defense that isn't nearly as good as the Texans unit that made life difficult for him during Denver's loss to Houston. The Denver offense as a whole has only put together two touchdowns and two field goals in the first halves of games so far this season.
Denver will be missing linebacker Joe Mays due to a one-game suspension for a late hit on Matt Schaub during the loss to the Texans.
Game Date/Time: Sunday, Sept. 30, 2:05 p.m. MT
