With the playoffs still on the horizon for the NFL, the Denver Broncos don't know where they will be picking in the NFL Draft next April. This is hardly a bad thing for the Broncos, who instead got the No. 1 seed in the AFC and a chance to make their first Super Bowl since the Elway days. The pick the Broncos end up with will depend on how they do in the playoffs.
Denver's AFC East rivals from Kansas City will get the No. 1 pick in the upcoming draft after finishing with a 2-14 record. Jacksonville, who ended with the same record, will end up with the No. 2 pick thanks to strength of schedule favoring the Chiefs.
The other teams in the AFC East, the San Diego Chargers and the Oakland Raiders, will pick at No. 3 and No. 11 overall. The Chicago Bears were the team closest to a playoff spot without getting in, and will pick at the No. 20 spot just outside the playoff positioning.
