Going into the final week of the NFL season, the Denver Broncos will be working toward finishing up their bid at being the best in the AFC, while the Kansas City Chiefs will just be playing out the stretch so that their nightmare of a 2012 season will be over.
The Broncos are heavy favorites going into Sunday, and for good reason. A superb pass-rushing defense and the Peyton Manning-led attack have the Broncos in the discussion as Super Bowl favorites. Meanwhile, the Chiefs are at the end of a season that saw them take weeks upon weeks to even manage getting a lead in a game, let alone a win. (Even their first win over the Saints technically didn't see them lead at any point, with the game ending in overtime.)
A win for the Broncos will guarantee them the No. 1 seed in the AFC with the Patriots sitting a game behind them. New England will play the Miami Dolphins to end their regular season.
