The Denver Broncos have a chance to potentially lock up the top spot in the AFC on Sunday with a win over the Kansas City Chiefs at home. The Broncos would need a win and also a loss by the Houston Texans to get the No. 1 seed and likely won't have to worry much about one of those, heading into Sunday's game a healthy 16-point favorite over the Chiefs.
The Broncos have won 10 straight games dating back to Week 6 against the San Diego Chargers, when Denver entered the division game with a 2-3 record and questions about whether the team had the ability to win with Peyton Manning. Now, the veteran quarterback leads the No. 4 offense in the NFL and the second-highest scoring team in the league.
The Chiefs, meanwhile, have just two wins on the season for a team with one of the more lopsided offenses in the NFL. Despite possessing one of the more dangerous ground attacks in the league, the Chiefs have been unable to score and that's a big reason why OddsShark has Denver favorites by more than two touchdowns.
The Texans take on the Colts at 11 a.m. MT and if Houston wins, the Broncos could decide to rest some starters. Kickoff against the Chiefs is set for 2:25 p.m. MT.
