Buccaneers vs. Broncos odds: Denver opens week as touchdown favorite

The Broncos will have to become the first team to beat the Buccaneers by more than seven to win against the spread.

While the team's win against the Kansas City Chiefs wasn't exactly dominant, it was the sixth consecutive victory for the Denver Broncos. That momentum and success is the reason why the Broncos open the week as a seven-point favorite against the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to OddsShark.

It would be a bad loss for the Buccaneers that have not lost by more than seven points in 2012. Had the team not dropped its Week 12 game against the Atlanta Falcons, 24-23, it would have been a fifth straight victory for the resurgent Buccaneers.

However, seven points has been a simple mark for the Broncos to reach for the majority of the season. Each of the team's eight wins in 2012 came by a margin of at least seven points.

The over/under is set at 51, making it expected that the game will be one of the highest of Week 13. In fact, only the Thursday Night Football game between the Falcons and Saints has a higher over/under, set at 56.
