Demaryius Thomas reached a milestone during the Denver Broncos' Week 12 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, as the talented wide receiver eclipsed the 1,000 yard mark for the season.

Needless to say, Thomas is pleased with his season thus far, with 61 receptions for 1,015 receiving yards and six touchdowns through Denver's first 11 games.

"It's big. My main thing is to stay healthy and stay focused and just keep grinding. I feel like if I stay healthy, I can do some big things. I got a quarterback, I have a good group of guys around me to help me out. Most of the time, it's not going to be double teams, so it'll mainly be man coverage because you have (Eric) Decker, you have (Brandon) Stokley and a good group of guys around me in the receiving corps and a great quarterback. My main focus is to stay healthy and go out and pick my turns out on the field."

To say he's 'got' a quarterback is putting it mildly, as Peyton Manning is once again in the MVP race, along with long-time rival Tom Brady.

Manning has targeted the 6'3 wide receiver 93 times this season. Thomas' 63 receptions, 93 targets, 1,015 receiving yards and six touchdowns all constitute career highs so far -- and there's still five games left for Thomas to build on those numbers.

Thomas faces an excellent matchup in Week 13, as the Broncos play host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- the same Buccaneers who boast the worst pass defense in the NFL.
