With five days remaining before the heavily favored Denver Broncos face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12, Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel has not yet decided who will be the starting quarterback for the road team, according to a report from Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star.
The decision will be between Brady Quinn and Matt Cassel, both of whom have struggled during the 2012 season. Cassel began the season as starter the before a concussion forced him out of the lineup and caused the Chiefs to replace him with Quinn, but he too was forced out of a game with a head injury.
Cassel has started eight games for the Chiefs in 2012, throwing six touchdowns and 12 interceptions. With two starts, Quinn has completely a slightly better percentage of his passes, but has yet to throw a touchdown while throwing three interceptions.
The Chiefs are expected to make a decision on Wednesday.
