The Denver Broncos have won two in-a-row and are sitting atop the AFC West division thanks in large part to quarterback Peyton Manning, who took home AFC Offensive Player of the Month honors for October, according to a report from ProFootballTalk.com.
Denver was 2-1 in the month of the October, rebounding from a loss to the New England Patriots with a win over the New Orleans Saints last Sunday night and a come-from-behind victory over the San Diego Chargers on Monday, Oct. 15.
In each of those contests, Manning threw three touchdowns apiece, with only one interception in the same span, throwing for over 300 yards in every October game as well. Manning was been razor-sharp, completing 74 percent of his throws, and he currently holds the NFL's best quarterback rating at 109.
Manning and the Broncos begin November by traveling to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals this Sunday afternoon.
