The Denver Broncos announced the addition of safety Duke Ihenacho to the team's practice squad on Saturday, In order to complete this move, defensive end Jamie Blatnick was released.
Ihenacho joined the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2012 following a fine career with the San Jose St. Spartans. He was a three-time first-team all-WAC honoree. He began the season on the team's practice squad before making the 53-man roster at the end of October. He was inactive for a couple of game before later being cut.
Jamie Blatnick was also an undrafted free agent signing by the Broncos in 2012. The defensive end played his college ball for the Oklahoma St. Cowboys.
The Denver Broncos play the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football, closing out Week 6. The bye week comes after that and leads into a Sunday Night Football showdown with the New Orleans Saints. The team is currently 2-3.
