Las Vegas Bowl 2012 odds and lines: Boise State the narrow favorite

The Boise State Broncos are favorites by less than a touchdown against the Washington Huskies for Saturday's bowl game.

No. 19 Boise State will play in the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas for the third straight year, facing the Washington Huskies in a game that the Broncos might find a bit tougher than in previous seasons.

The Broncos have been successful in 2012 thanks to one of the best defenses in the NCAA, allowing just 14.9 points per game this season. Boise State, while 10-2 on the season, has not dominated as much as most have been used to seeing and is just 6-6 against spread offenses this year.

As such, the Broncos are just 5.5-point favorites over the Huskies, a team that averaged 23.8 points behind an offense that managed 210 yards passing per game. The line is also set relatively low at 46, as it seems the vaunted defense of Boise State may keep this a low scoring game overall.

Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. MT with coverage on ESPN.
