With one week left in the college football season Boise State could find itself back in a BCS bowl if everything breaks well on championship weekend. The Broncos need a win over Nevada, but that victory would get the Broncos to 10-2. They are also No. 20 in the BCS standings. With a Nebraska loss to Wisconsin and a Kent State loss to Northern Illinois the Broncos could automatically qualify for the BCS if they rise as high as No. 16 in the final poll and still finish ahead of an automatic qualifying conference champion.
The latest SB Nation projections do not have this, however. They believe that Boise State will go to the Las Vegas Bowl to play Arizona State.
Air Force has already locked up its bowl assignment as the Falcons have accepted a bid to play in the Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth. SB Nation projects Rice as their opponent on Dec. 29.
