NCAA Football Rankings, Week 12: Boise State again falls short of AP Top 25 ranking

A 35-point drubbing of Hawaii on the road was not enough this week to get the Boise State Broncos back into the AP Top 25.

A week removed from losing their spot in the AP Top 25, the Boise State Broncos made a statement by blowing out the Hawaii Warriors, 49-14.

Unfortunately for the Broncos, that statement was not loud enough to get them back into the rankings. This week, they received 14 votes, which still put them on the outside looking in.

The good news though is that Boise State will be heavily favored in its final two games of the year, so the Broncos will have a chance to end the regular season with some momentum going into a bowl game.

Meanwhile out of the teams that did make the rankings, 10-0 Oregon came in at No. 1 following Alabama's loss to Texas A&M. Two to other 10-0 teams, Kansas State and Notre Dame, join the Ducks in the top three. The Crimson Tide fell to No. 4, just ahead of conference foe Georgia.

Michigan and Kent State both won this week, and as a result, re-entered the rankings.
