Boise St. vs. Hawaii: Broncos stay on cruise control

The Boise State Broncos have calmed down their offensive onslaught, only putting up seven points in the third quarter as they are dismantling the Hawaii Warriors, 42-7, after three quarters.

The only points of the third quarter came on a forced fumble by the Broncos that was recovered by Demarcus Lawrence and returned 25 yards for a touchdown.

Everyone has gotten into the act for the Broncos, as quarterback Joe Southwick has 197 yards passing with three touchdowns and Jay Ajayi and Shane Williams-Rhodes each have running touchdowns.

The Broncos have stifled the Warriors' offense as they have rushed for -5 yards on 28 carries and have turned the ball over three times.

The Broncos have 325 yards of total offense compared to the Warriors' 119 and have doubled the number of first downs the Warriors have earned (16 to 8).

The Broncos are looking to win their eighth game of the season and the Warriors seem to be on their way to losing their sixth Mountain West conference game and their eighth out of nine games overall.
