No. 19 Boise State will aim for their eighth straight win of the season on Saturday as the Broncos welcome San Diego State to Boise, Idaho.
The Broncos are coming off a 45-14 win over Wyoming, the best showing yet for the offense in a season that has been more about a dominant defense than what has traditionally been a high-flying offensive attack. Boise State currently owns the fifth-best scoring defense in the nation, one that has allowed more than 14 points in a game just once this season.
Boise State sits on top of the Mountain West Conference standings, with the team's lone loss coming in a heartbreaker against Michigan State in the opening game of the year.
San Diego State (6-3, 4-1) will present a challenge for the Broncos, with the Aztecs having won four straight games after losses against San Jose State and Fresno State in September. Sophomore quarterback Adam Dingwell has filled in admirably for starter Ryan Katz, who was lost for the season with a broken ankle against Nevada. Since entering the game for Katz, Dingwell has passed for 408 yards and five touchdowns in just under two full games.
Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. MT with coverage on CBS Sports Network.
