On the heels of a 45-14 thrashing of Wyoming, the Boise State Broncos are now No. 19 in the AP Poll, which was released Sunday morning.

Boise State is now 7-1 and a perfect 4-0 in the Mountain West Conference. As has been the case all season, running back D.J. Harper led the Broncos, rushing for 105 yards and two touchdowns.

This Saturday, Boise State hosts San Diego State and will look for its eighth straight win.

Meanwhile at the top of the poll this week, Alabama maintained its stranglehold on the No. 1 spot, while Oregon stayed at No. 2. They are joined by two other 8-0 teams, Kansas State and Notre Dame, to round out the top four. LSU, at 7-1, is No. 5.

A bevy of upsets caused Florida, USC and others to fall, while Rutgers fell out of the top 25 completely.

This week's AP Poll newcomers are Nebraskas (21), Arizona (24) and UCLA (25).
