NCAA Football Rankings, Week 9: Boise State up four in this week's Coaches Poll

Boise State hasn't had much to worry about lately in the Mountain West, and that didn't change this week as they beat UNLV, 32-7. The Broncos are now 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the conference, which has led to a No. 18 spot in the USA Today Coaches Poll, up four from a week ago.

If Boise State hopes to keep moving up in the rankings, they'll have to do so by winning on the road. Two of their next three games are away from home, including next weekend at Wyoming.

Meanwhile Alabama and Oregon retain the top two spots in the Coaches Poll. Alabama beat Tennessee, while Oregon crushed Arizona State. The Sun Devils joined Cincinnati and TCU as the three teams who lost this week and consequently fell out of the rankings. They were replaced by Ohio (No. 23), Texas (No. 24) and Wisconsin (No. 25).
