The Week 8 AP Poll is out, and the Boise State Broncos are holding steady at No. 24. Boise took care of business at home on Saturday, defeating rival Fresno State, 20-10. Chris Petersen's group jumped out to an early 17-0 lead, and then hung on in the second half and shut down the Fresno offense. Boise is now 5-1 at the mid-point of the season.
The Broncos will have another opportunity to move up next week, hosting a struggling UNLV team at Bronco Stadium. The Rebels are just 1-6, and Boise should be heavily favored as it tries to continue its ascent up the polls after a season-opening loss. Here's this week's entire AP Top 25 poll:
