BYU Vs. Boise State Halftime Score: Broncos And Cougars Scoreless As Offenses Sputter

The Boise State Broncos and the BYU Cougars are scoreless at the half. Neither team's offense has been able to gain any traction, with BYU turning the ball over twice in the first half, and Boise State simply failing to drive the ball.

After Michael Frisina missed a 33-yard field goal midway through the first quarter, Boise State has twice gone for it on fourth down. Both attempts were unsuccessful, resulting in the team turning the ball over on downs at Boise State's 20 and 22.

Jamar Taylor is the star of the first half, coming through for Boise State in key moments. When an unsuccessful punt handed BYU the ball just outside the red zone, Taylor made an interception to prevent the Cougars from scoring. Later in the second quarter, Taylor forced a fumble, getting Boise State the ball at midfield and halting a BYU drive just as it started picking up steam.

Boise State quarterback Joe Southwick is 10-for-17 for 78 yards so far. D.J. Harper leads the rushing attack for Boise State, picking up 77 yards on 14 carries.
