The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Miles visited Boise on Friday received an offer on Monday and committed on Tuesday. Miles also had a pair of offers from Hawaii and Utah State, plus he had planned a visit to Utah but that has since been cancelled.
Miles plans on serving a LDS mission before he enrolls at Boise State, so if he sticks to that plan he will not be on campus until 2015.
After experiencing the school and everything about the football program Miles knew that Boise State was for him:
"I just knew it was my place to go when I met all the coaches," said Miles, who attended junior day and summer camp at Boise State. "Coach (Chris) Pete(rsen), he's got it all figured out. I loved the facilities, loved everything up there. Everything about Boise told me I need to be there."
As of now Miles is not rated by any of the recruiting services, but here are some highlights of Miles:
