The Boise St. Broncos picked up one recruit and lost out on another on National Signing Day. The Broncos picked up defensive end Darien Barrett, who was rumored to be a Broncos commit on Tuesday, but saw defensive end Dylan Cozens choose the Arizona Wildcats.
The Broncos lost defensive linemen Billy Winn and Shea McClellin to graduation this year, which made adding more bodies on the defensive line a priority for the team this recruiting class. The team already added Demarcus Lawrence from the junior college ranks when he enrolled in January along with quarterback Nick Patti and four others. Lawrence is expected to be an immediate impact player for the Broncos.
