Las Vegas Bowl 2011, Arizona State Vs. Boise State: Broncos Return To Vegas For 2nd Straight Year

The Arizona St. Sun Devils and the Boise St. Broncos are participating in the 2011 MAACO Las Vegas Bowl.

After the BCS decided to bypass the Boise St. Broncos, the Las Vegas Bowl was more than happy to invite the team from Boise back to the city for a second year in a row. The Broncos defeated the Utah Utes, 26-3, in last year's game

The Broncos enter this game at 11-1 with a three-game winning streak. A one-point loss to the TCU Horned Frogs in the middle of November brought to an end the team's easy path to the BCS. But overall, the Broncos' first season in the Mountain West has been a huge success.

The Sun Devils, on the other hand, finished the season at 6-6 and on a four-game losing streak. Surprisingly, the team still had a shot to win the Pac-12 South division entering the final week of the season.

The Broncos are likely to be big favorites in this game, but that doesn't mean they should take this game lightly.

Game date, time: 6:00 p.m. MT, Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011

Location: Sam Boyd Stadium, Las Vegas, NV

TV channel: ESPN
