BCS Projections, Week 15: Will Oklahoma State Jump Alabama In Final Polls? BCS Guru Thinks So

The college football post season comes down to this final release of the BCS standings. While LSU is clearly the No.1 team after its 42-10 defeat of the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship Game, will the Alabama Crimson Tide fall down one spot? The BCS Guru, Samuel Chi, is predicting exactly that in his Week 15 BCS projections. The Oklahoma St. Cowboys move up to the No. 2 spot, likely due to its dominant 44-10 victory over the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday. The Cowboys won the Big 12 by defeating the Sooners.

Since the six BCS conference champions are already determined, Chi sees two at-large bids going to Alabama and Stanford. Two others remain since the SEC and Big 12 champs are projected into the championship game. Chi believes Michigan will be No. 14 in the BCS standings, giving that team the at-large berth. The second one comes down to the Boise St. Broncos or the Kansas St. Wildcats. While he sees the Broncos are a team that will travel well and polarize the college football world, Chi believes Kansas State being part of the Big 12 will give them the edge over Boise State.

TCU also has a shot at one of those at-large bids, but they need to finish at No. 16 or better, which Chi doesn't see happening. Here are his projected BCS standings.

Projected final BCS Standings:

1. LSU, 2. Oklahoma State, 3. Alabama, 4. Stanford, 5. Oregon, 6. Boise State, 7. Arkansas, 8. Kansas State, 9. South Carolina, 10. Wisconsin, 11. Baylor, 12. Virginia Tech, 13. Michigan, 14. Houston, 15. Oklahoma, 16. Michigan State, 17. Clemson, 18. TCU, 19. Georgia, 20. Nebraska.
