Mountain West Football Schedule, Week 14: Wyoming Takes On Colorado State

It's the final weekend of the year for the Mountain West Conference and while we know that TCU has won the conference, there is still plenty to play for. The best game on the slate figures to be a surprising Wyoming team taking on their I-25 rivals when the Cowboys face off against the Rams.

Here's the schedule:

Wyoming Cowboys (7-4, 4-2 MWC) vs. Colorado St. Rams (3-8, 1-5), 12:00 pm. MT: Colorado State plays their final game of the 2011 season after a week where the school's athletic director was unceremoniously let go. Wyoming has been one of the least discussed surprise teams of the season and a win on the road against the Rams would cap off a fantastic year.

UNLV Rebels (2-9, 1-5) vs. No. 18 TCU Horned Frogs (9-2, 6-0), 12:30 p.m. MT: TCU has done their part and won the Mountain West in the last year of membership. But they have one more team to take care of so they can head to the Big 12 as undefeated conference champions.

New Mexico Lobos (1-10, 1-5) vs. No. 7 Boise St. Broncos  (10-1, 5-1), 4:00 p.m. MT: This one should be over in a heart beat as one of the worst FBS teams takes on one of the best. What are the chances that Chris Peterson actually makes a move this year?

Fresno St. Bulldogs (4-8, 3-4) vs. San Diego St. Aztecs (7-4, 4-3), 6:00 p.m. MT: Rocky Long and San Diego State are hoping to reach a bowl game even though they may be pushed out due to the waiver given a 6-7 UCLA team. All the Aztecs can do this weekend is focus on beating Fresno State, as a loss would increase the chances of staying at home over the holidays.
