Boise State Broncos quarterback Kellen Moore is halfway to his 50th career NCAA, as his team leads the Arizona State Sun Devils at halftime, 28-3. Should the Broncos hold on for the win, and there's no reason to doubt they won't, Moore will have an NCAA record that will be nigh impossible to break.
After taking a 14-0 lead in the first quarter, the Broncos didn't let up in the second. After Brock Osweiler lost 20 yards on a drive toward the end of the first quarter, the Broncos began the second with an offense ready to score some more points. Three minutes into the quarter, Moore threw his second touchdown of the game when he found Matt Miller for a two-yard touchdown.
The Sun Devils did get on the board with a 32-yard field goal, but the Broncos answered back in the final two minutes of the half. That last score, however, saw Moore on the sidelines and the Broncos running a trick play. The backup quarterback, Grant Hedrick, took the snap under center and pitched the ball to Matt Miller. Miller then threw a pass to Kyle Efaw for a five-yard touchdown.
