College Football Rankings, Week 14: Harris Poll Moves Stanford To No. 3, Keeps Boise State At No. 8

The Week 14 Harris Poll has elevated the Stanford Cardinal up to No. 3 after defeating the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday. The Arkansas Razorbacks lost the spot after dropping a game to the No. 1 LSU Tigers on Friday, settling in at No. 9. This will surely help the Cardinal in its pursuit of a BCS at-large bid while the Razorbacks ended any chance of one of those obscure BCS rules allowing in a third team from an AQ conference to happen.

The Boise St. Broncos are still the No. 8 team in this poll, but the Oregon Ducks did jump them to the No. 7 spot. The Houston Cougars moved up one spot to No. 7. The Cougars remain in line for an automatic BCS bid as a non-automatic conference champion, pending a defeat of Southern Miss in the Conference USA Championship Game.
