College Football Rankings, Week 14: Boise State Fall To No. 9 In AP Poll

The Week 14 AP Top 25 Polll is out and the Boise St. Broncos fell two spots in from No. 7 to No. 9 despite defeating the Wyoming Cowboys on Saturday. The Houston Cougars and the Oregon Ducks each moved up a spot as a result of the Broncos' drop. The Arkansas Razorbacks fell three spots as a result of Friday's loss to the No. 1 LSU Tigers. The USC Trojans, who are ineligible for the postseason, are tied for No. 9 with Boise State.

The AP Poll does not factor into the BCS formula, but it is predicting what the BCS standings will tell us again: LSU vs. Alabama in the BCS National Championship Game. The Houston Cougars are the highest-ranked non-automatic qualifier and need to defeat the Southern Miss Golden Eagles in the Conference USA Championship Game to gain an automatic BCS bid.
